This Area

Relax in beautiful countryside

Situated in a rural farmland hamlet close to Bartlett's Bridge at the foot of the Mendip Hills, officially designated as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this recently renovated barn conversion offers a peaceful, charming and stylish retreat from the pressures of everyday life.

Glorious views of the Somerset Levels provide a delightful backdrop for this country cottage nestling on the banks of the river Axe which winds its sleepy way across the peat moors.

Notwithstanding the idyllic quietude, bustling Wells, Cheddar and Wedmore are within easy reach whilst metropolitan Bristol and Bath with their seafaring and high society backgrounds invite your investigation.

There are many friendly country pubs in the area, most offering exceptionally good food and local ales; Wedmore itself boasts three in addition to a rather good Indian takeaway!
